The gesture
In this collective exhibition, I choose to express the gesture by the feet.
Those who walk, who flee, that cross mountains and borders.
Their gesture is simple and immense : move forward, encore, despite the pain, Despite fear.
Worn shoes are traces of these steps, vestiges of existence arrested or transformed by the trip.
Within them, A red rose flowers. She says life persists, that she slips into the wounds, that it even reborn in the tests.
The gesture of walking thus becomes the gesture of surviving, resist, hope.
